When you use our application, we may collect and store your personal information provided by you from time to time and the information generated /stored through operation of the App. We may access your customer, bank account information as available with us. We do so to ensure that the App is working efficiently and provide correct information/data required for facilitating seamless access to the services / features. This requires collection of personal information to the extent necessary for achieving this purpose.
You confirm voluntarily giving consent and authorising the Bank to carry out Face authentication based e-Know Your Customer ("e-KYC") / Aadhaar authentication to fetch demographic details from UIDAI whenever Employee Attendance marking or Employee Login into business application or Pensioner Life Certificate submission feature of app is used. The demographic details include name, date of birth, gender, address and photograph. You understand and agree that:
You authorise the Bank to use your mobile number in our records for sending SMS irrespective of the Do Not Disturb (DND) services availed by you. You may please note that it is mandatory to login by yourself to use the App using your CHRIS login credentials and a verification code sent via text message. You may at your own risk and responsibility allow access into the App by relying on the same approach by which you authenticate yourself for unlocking your device. We may automatically track certain information about you based on your activity in our app to the extent we may deem it fit.
We may retain such information that deems fit and necessary to resolve disputes related to the transactions, facilitation of services/features or where needed to provide support to the users and troubleshoot problems relevant to the functionality of the App. We may collect personally identifiable information (User ID, Employee identifier, Phone number) from you on registration to generate verification codes and to store the same.
We may use the information/details thus obtained to analyse the effectiveness of the App, detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity; enforce our terms and conditions which are an integral part of the use of this application.
We may identify and use IP address of your device where the App is used to diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our app. IP address is also used to identify you and to gather broad demographic information.
User has to login to the App only with SIM of the mobile number registered with the Bank. User should not attempt to reengineer or misuse the App or put it into use for any reason other than for the purposes for which it is provided.
We may disclose the information/details as stored in the App, if required to do so by law or in the good faith that such disclosure is necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes. We may disclose such information to law enforcement offices upon such requests, third party rights or others in the good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our Terms or Privacy Policy; respond to claims that an advertisement, posting or other content violates the rights of a third party; or protect the rights, property or personal safety of our users or the general public.
We may share some or all of your personal information/credentials with another business entity should we plan to merge with, or be acquired by that business entity or in the event, or re-organization, amalgamation, restructuring of business. On such occurrence the other business entity (or the new combined entity) shall follow this privacy policy with respect to the information available in the App/your personal information.
